Impressions from the Precision Agriculture Advisory
Last week we attended the “Precision Agriculture Advisory” event, organised by Livona doo.
The event took place in an excellent atmosphere, with a quality exchange of ideas, experiences, and concrete examples from practice. It was a particular pleasure to see, through the presentation sessions, how Livona doo makes use of a wide range of precision agriculture tools.
Drone Technology in Crop Protection
For us, the topic of drone technology in crop protection was especially significant. We had the opportunity to get a closer look at the new XAG drone model XAG P150 Max, as well as the XAG APC2 autopilot system.
We plan to test the APC2 autopilot in the coming period in order to get better acquainted with its capabilities and gain practical experience that we want to pass on to our clients. We believe the market needs to see that affordable solutions can successfully meet real challenges in the field.
New Connections
Events like this are always an opportunity for new acquaintances. This time was no exception – we had the pleasure of meeting young and dedicated people who are contributing to raising agriculture to a higher level. It was especially inspiring to see the energy and initiatives aimed at popularising rural work, as well as efforts to respond to the growing challenges of the market through cooperation.
We had the pleasure of meeting the team behind the well-known Serbian YouTube channel Agrocast, as well as some members of the association Poljoprivrednici nove generacije (New Generation Farmers).
We also exchanged information with Marija Antanasković, the author of the portal TraktorplusM, particularly on the topic of the number and prevalence of drones in Serbia.
Plans for the Upcoming Season
In the season ahead, we plan to work on educational video materials with the goal of bringing this technology closer to a wider agricultural audience.
